Marta Herráez specialises in the conservation and restoration of metalwork, from fine metalwork to archaeological and architectural.
Conservation is defined as the preservation of the cultural heritage in a way that maintains its historical context, while restoration involves a degree of intervention on the material in order to restore the work's orignal aesthetics.
Marta works on decorative objects from all periods and cultures. She has extensive knowledge in the fields of Islamic, Indian, Chinese, Japanese and Medieval art.
